Our first guest on the ‘Best in the World with Richard Parr’ is 1995 Rugby World Cup winner Chester Williams. Chester was the only black player in the South Africa team that won the tournament on home soil in front of Nelson Mandela and united a nation.

That event was made into the movie ‘Invictus’ starring Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman. Chester talks about working for three months on the movie during filming and what he thought of the actor playing him.

He speaks about that historic victory in 1995, his friendship with Mandela, growing up in apartheid South Africa, how he got into the sport, his coaching career, time management, nutrition, and much more.

He also says he is ready to become the next Springboks coach.
